Apply Lining By Brush

I want to hear how other trainers teach this skill. Im not sure Im doing it right

I get my students to divide a wall into a series of equal lines and paint these free hand. They do vertical then they do horizontal.

They keep doing this until they can do it perfectly. This way they develop speed, confidence and skill through practice.

That is where we as offsite trainers come in as apposed to onsite training, we can create an environment for skills development, a bit like a coach would drill his team for specific skills. No football team would be successful with just playing games. They need specific drills to build skills.

In the work place I would use masking tape, in college I want them to do it free hand.

I see the lining as a skill set that transfers in every competency just about.

Looks like I've been doing it right. I couldnt find any info on it anywhere, not even in the resources given to me by another trainer; you know who I mean! ;)
